It was great to see everyone back in Kitah Dalet-Hei after February break! On Monday we finished learning the prayer Bei Ana Rachetz. (Students can practice by going to www.sidduraudio.com, clicking on "Torah Service," and scrolling to the 2:46 mark.) This marks the end of all the Torah Service prayers that we will be learning this year! The kids have done a great job and should be very proud of their hard work. Save the date for March 22, when we will be leading in the sanctuary, and March 31, when we will be leading Jr. Congregation.
We also begin learning about slam poetry, or spoken word. Keep your eyes and ears open for a great new project will be working on this semester. To check out some great spoken-word like performances that are kid-friendly, check out "Kid President" videos on YouTube.
