The students spent much of Thursday afternoon rehearsing the Torah Service, which they led this past Shabbat morning. They did a beautiful job! Thank you to everyone who was there to support them!
The students also are close to finishing their virtual museums, which exhibit ancient artifacts from biblical times. We set the date for our publication party, when they will share and celebrate their projects: Monday, Dec. 22. Stay tuned for more details!
We are also currently accepting donations for our MSPCA supply drive, which is teaching about the mitzvah of Kol Yisrael Arevim Zeh b'Zeh. Anything from this list would be helpful.
Please be reminded that the students should be practicing reading Hebrew at least 5 minutes/day. They can read from the Kriah section of their Ramah 4 Mitkadem packets.
Finally, KIRS will be celebrating Hanukkah together by lighting candles and enjoying snacks on Thusday, Dec. 18 at 4:30. The celebration will be held in Novakoff at KI. All are welcome-we hope to see you there!
