Thanks again to all who came and celebrated with us at our Purim party on Thursday afternoon! The students worked hard rehearsing for our Purim shpiel, and I think they had a lot of fun dressing up as the characters from the Book of Esther. Please be reminded that students have a Parshat Ki Tisa assignment due Monday. They should also be reading Hebrew 5 minutes/day, 5 times/week.
There are some exciting events coming up next week! On Monday, we will be visiting the MSPCA to deliver our donations and tour the facility. Please make sure your child has turned in a signed permission slip; one is required to attend. We should be back to KI by the normal end time of KIRS (4:45).
On Saturday, the 5th graders will be leading Musaf in the Main Sanctuary! Please make sure your child is practicing the prayer he or she will be leading at home. You can find a recording of the Musaf prayers here.
