On Monday the students experimented with another form of poetry, the "I am" poem. The next step will be choosing a poem they want to revise and develop for our Open Mic. We are looking forward to performing for you on the last day of classes, June 12--more details to come! The students also studied the story of David and Goliath. They were very intrigued and some even kept reading after we had finished the chapter to find out what happens to David.
Please note that the students have vocabulary homework due Thursday, May 8 and a quiz on Monday, May 12.
